Plan your arrival to the Thunder Over Louisiana Air Show Presented by Kia of Lake Charles with ease! Find parking details, directions, and additional information to help you get to and from the event safely and efficiently.
Parking Passes
All vehicles parking in the Air Show lots must have a parking pass.
There will be two parking lots.
Remote Parking Lot – Passes for this lot will be included with the purchase of tickets to General Admission, Premium Box Seats, Warhawk Club, and Aces Club. There will be a shuttle running to and from the show site to transport guests.
Premium Parking Lot – Passes for this lot are included with the purchase of a Chennault Club membership. Guests who do not wish to park in the Remote Parking lot, may purchase a parking pass to this lot separately. Premium parking passes can be purchased on our tickets page.
Premium Parking passes will NOT be sold at the gate.
Due to limited parking space, once all parking passes are reserved, no additional passes will be made available.

ADA/Handicap Parking
Both the Remote and Premium parking lots will have ADA spots located at the front.
They will be given out on a first-come, first-parking bases.
There are NO ADA-specific parking passes.
Guests wishing to park in these spots, will need their remote or premium parking pass, and the placard or license plate.
Additional Parking Notes
If you are planning on bringing an RV, or oversized vehicle, you must park in the Remote Parking Lot.
No loitering, tailgating, or overnight camping in any of the lots.
There will be no golf carts running between the parking lots and the gates.
*There will be golf carts running inside the gates for those needing assistance.
Tips for a Successful Parking Experience
Before the Show
Arrive early to try to avoid some of the anticipated mid-morning traffic.
Watch for parking signs as you get closer to the airport.
Have your parking pass ready for volunteers to scan.
After the Show
Hang around after the last performer to avoid departing traffic.
Follow the directions of the volunteers and public safety officials.
